Establishment: King Edward VI School

The symbols(s) on the map indicates your selected establishment(s). Click on the symbol to get basic information and a link to the establishment summary page.

Navigation - to pan around the map, click and drag. Alternatively use the arrows found on the left-hand side of the map pane. To zoom in on the map double-click any area, or use the +/- icons or the zoom slider found on the left-hand side of the map pane. To zoom on a particular portion of the map select the magnifying glass icon and click and drag the area on which to zoom.

Measure distance - select the ruler icon to measure a straight-line distance between two points on the map. Once the ruler icon is highlighted click to two points on the map. Distance can be displayed in miles, kilometers or meters. Please note, this distance should not be used as the definitive measure of distance for admissions purposes.

Selection tab - this tab summarises the establishment symbols and boundaries displayed on the map.

Schools tab - this tab allows the user to identify various establishment criteria by selecting different symbols, for example, Admissions Policy or Phase of Education.

Layers tab - this tab allows the user to switch on/off various boundary layers. Please note, some boundary layers may not be available at some zoom levels.

Filter results - click this link to select/deselect individual establishments from being displayed on the map.

Print and export - allows the user to download the map as a PDF or image file, or to print the map as landscape or portrait, A3 or A4 size.
